Not all people can pursue their studies in tertiary most especially if they lack financial matters. Only few and rich people have the capacity to study in college because they can suffice all their necessities with their studies an can take whatever course they want. If you will calculate the annual expenses of a college student who studies in an exclusive school, it will reach $20,000 for a bachelor's degree. Try to divide this amount, and that would be the fee that you can pay in public school and divide it into half, that amount will only let you study in college in your community.

Because of this fact, the government came up with this kind of project in order to uplift people's education for a better future those who can't afford to study in tertiary level. People who cannot afford to study in tertiary level are the ones who can be entitled with government's college grants. On the other hand, this grant only offers limited slots so not all applicants will be given a chance to take advantage that opportunity.
