San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful town situated one hundred seventy miles from Mexico City. This is an ideal place to visit because you can explore central Mexico and witness its rich history and culture. There are a lot of entertainment options and amenities you can find.

This town is a Spanish territory composed of one hundred forty thousand residents. This was made a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

You can cool off by strolling the streets in this community. This is encompassed by mountains so travelers can visit this community any time they want.

It is, however, quite challenging to reach this destination. You have the option to drive your way to this place if you have your own transportation, but this is not advisable if you are not that brave. In the neighboring cities of Queretaro and Leon, there are airports and a local bus station.

If you would like to walk around and explore this place, make sure that you are in good physical shape. There are steep narrow cobbled streets. You can also appreciate the stunning view at every twist and turn. Visitors can explore all the major attractions since there is a ready to use special trolley.
