1. When selecting a wedding dress, look for one which bustles the train up and aside. This way, you can walk elegantly and safely during your reception because the train won't get in the way of your shoes. You can opt for shorter dress or a longer one with a retractable train.

2. Your gown should have a hem that's at least a half inch higher from the floor. With this, it should be easy and comfortable enough walking down the aisle in your gown. With your dress' bottom of the ground, walking on any type of surface should not be problem. The hem of the garment has lesser chances of getting soiled as it is now off the ground.

4. Shoes with high heels should be chosen for the right reasons. Shoes with high heels should be worn in comfort. Comfort should be a priority rather than style. Break in those high heels prior to the actual wedding day and practice walking in them.

5. Walk with a good posture while wearing your gown. Your posture guarantees that your gown will fall freely as you walk. Additionally, maintaining a good posture makes you look elegant and confidence. Thus, keep your shoulders back, your back straight, and your chin up.

6. Practice wearing your wedding bridal shoes at home long before the big day. This will allow you to break them and to give the material time to conform to your feet. Also, wear the dress while you practice walking so you will get used to it and feel comfortable during the big day.

7. Learn how to hold the sides of your dress up especially when climbing up the stairs. This will help prevent you from tripping.

You are now well prepared to walk down that aisle.
