Perfect For My Purpose - Motion Sensor Outdoor Lighting Review

By Hailey Johnson

The sensor light by itself could be manually rotated 360-degrees and slightly tilted in an angle for a much more directional publicity. Movement sensor is effective.

Will be receiving more for 'Santa Stuffers' and exchage presents for everyone to be able to use.

This one works from the very first time I installed it. If you are seeking a wireless, motion-activated light to illuminate a little area, I would suggest this one. These cheap solar motion detector lights from China have disappointed me often before, so beware. Offers outstanding light for around twenty five square feet with dimmer lighting for about one hundred square feet. I got myself the Fulcrum LED Porch Light for a particular location at our rental beach home - the side of the home where we now have the trash cans. The pricing for these contemporary ceiling lights was similar to the big box shops.

But they're on the back of the light verse's on the sides of the light. I can hardly call it a light, it is so dim. I place one in a little rarely used closet which had no light. The manufacturer offers no tech support team phone number with no guarantee. I have been disappointed by other motion-sensored lights that simply aren't effective for what ever reason (not positioned right or otherwise extremely sensitive). In a sheltered location, the system can withstand rainspray and wind. Rather than spend $200 to have a technician come out and connect it, I simply chose to try this $10 light.

It's protected against the sun and rain, and we save electricity now that we don't have to have the front light on constantly. However it still illuminates quite a large area. One was faulty out of the box. I will find a spot where I'm able to put them where there is no light, but, that's barely what I was shopping for. They don't work with Compact Flourescent Bulbs (CFB). Works completely, I do not see any reason why it should feel or even be of any heavier plastic. The light does not come on throughout the day. Very reasonable, simple solution if you do not need intense lighting. Granted, I mounted mine on the beam under a patio cover, but which cover leaks and one of the models has got wet - still, no problem.

Positioned it in corner of stairs landing, it's angled up toward the next flooring. No wiring! It really works great - light bright enough where I need it without needing to wire anything.

Nevertheless, there's a limit how bright the LEDs can be without your needing to change the batteries each week approximately.
