Usually suburb residential areas have wall-mounted mailboxes. So in the suburbs the mailman just can't deliver the mail with the use of a mail truck he actually has to get out and go door to door. These wall-mounted mailboxes are usually attached right next to the front door for easy access. No longer do you have to walk to the six feet down the drive to pick up your mail, because it is right there at your door! Installing your mailbox is so easy anyone can do it.

It may seem like any mailbox would fit on your house, that may be true but do you want some giant mailbox that is a major eyesore, or do you want one that looks like it belongs? The mailbox you get has to be approved by the post office or they won't use it and you will still have to make that excruciating walk to the end of the driveway. After all that you will need to make sure that the mailman brings something so you can mount your mailbox to the wall. Asking the post office or your local mailman where you can place your mailbox, because it has to be in a certain spot on your house. If you don't actually own the house and just renting you will need to ask your landlord if it is fine placing a wall-mounted mailbox onto the building.

Even wall mailbox comes with simple to use instructions, read it just in case a problem arises. Each model of mailbox will be different from each other especially mailboxes from other brands. Although the installation is basically the same for every mailbox, sharing the basic rules. In order to be sure the mailbox will fit, measure the area where you intend to place it. This will ensure that the mailbox is in the correct location and also at the proper height from the ground.

You will need several tools to install a mailbox including: something to measure with, a level, screwdriver, and something to marks with. To find the correct height for your mailbox you will need to use the measuring tape and measure from the ground all the way up to the proper length. You can then use your marker or pencil to make the correct location. It is not needed but it will be helpful if you marked where you intend to screw in the mailbox. A level will make sure that all your marks will line up. If you will need something to hang your mailbox off, so you can either use screws or simply hammer in some nails.

See how easy installing wall-mounted mailboxes was. Within the time it takes you to actually reach your original mailbox you can have your brand new wall-mounted mailbox installed. Ask your post office if you can actually use the mailbox though, no point in installing it if the mailman won't use it. If you think walking down your driveway is a massive ordeal then this will be a massive benefit to you. This will also free up some extra space on your yard.
