How To Build A Responsive List And Use Email Marketing To Make More Sales

Despite all the hype around Facebook and Twitter, the fact is email is STILL the most profitable way to talk with people online. Systematically using email marketing in your business is a simple and inexpensive way make more money That's because unlike in the old days when we couldn't follow up with prospects easily, now you can do automated marketing for just a few dollars a month.Back in the pre-internet world, your only options for following up were by using the phone, direct mail, Fax or to visit people in person.

But these days you can simply use an autoresponder sequence that goes out on a pre-programmed schedule. Your readers receive a new message every few days in the order you'd like them to be received. And you can write and upload the entire thing one time and it runs in the background for you automatically.

Here's how to set up your email marketing system so it works for you day in, day out, on autopilot -

Step 1 - Grab a good autoresponder and set up your account if you haven't done so already.

Step 2 - Grab a piece of paper, and write out the conversation you would like to have if you could personally visit your prospect's home every couple of days. This conversation should be designed to build a relationship with your readers and convince them to buy from you. Write down all the things you'd say and work out the questions you'd expect them to have, and then turn that into a sequence of messages.

Now because unlike a personal conversation, you aren't going to be able to answer your reader's questions personally, you'll need to know what questions they would typically ask, and answer them as part of your sequence. Create at least 7 of these messages so you can start to build a relationship with your readers, just like you would if you were there with them in person.

Step 3 - This is important. If you want to be successful at email marketing, you should start doing this IMMEDIATELY. If you don't get a autoresponder account and take the time to write out your messages right now, then you might forget and never get around to doing it - and that would be bad.
