Want Something To Think About?

By Phylipa Dinnen

Even basic school biology tells us we are all made from trillions of tiny cells. Each and every one of those cells has a pre-determined function, essentially keeping you alive and healthy. As an example a cell in your brain would operate differently to a cell in your spleen.

We are much like that as well. It has often been said that each one of us is unique; indeed we are each created to function in the manner that suits us best. Yet life can have other ideas for us and what we should become is seriously thwarted in our early years as we are subjected to a relentless onslaught of conditioning through religion, societal values, gender and family beliefs. Unless we are lucky, education tries its utmost to homogenise us into obedient school children acting and responding to the education system in one specific way.....their way. Most of us will remember Pink Floyd's song "Another Brick In The Wall"?

We are indoctrinated by TV programmes like Dragon's Den making us believe that "If they can do I so can I?". Wrong! We buy the books on manifesting our dreams and attracting what we desire only to fail miserably and end up frustrated and dejected by our apparent 'failure ', believing there to be something deficient in us.

What we don't realise is that what we're attempting to be isn't the genuine us; neither is it the most effective way in which we function. Instead we should be looking for what makes us tick, and this of course includes understanding:

- Who we are

- What we want

- Our correct decision making strategy

- Our 'Self ' and our 'Not Self'

- Our unique blueprint, or genetic map

Fail to realise these 5 basics and you'll be banging your head against a proverbial brick wall as you try your absolute best to be a brain cell in the spleen.

Becoming familiar with your own Human Design is just like having an operating manual to lead you thru your life. A Human Design Chart will show you:

- Your life's purpose

- The essence of who you are and even why you're here

-Your strengths and weaknesses

- How to better understand and enjoy relationships that are supportive

- The best way to remain in sound health

- Your own money making strategy

- Become "unstuck" from the wrong life and create what you want.

Don't spend a whole life without truly looking at what you see in the mirror.
