Global Spirituality And Seeking Faith

By Nichole Cunningham

There are a great many people who think of religion and the only thing that comes to mind is all of the ways that religion tells them they are in the wrong for one thing or another, but for several global spirituality is the remedy for this problem. Many try to argue if this is a valid way to believe at all, but there are those who have finally found religious peace as well. It simply comes down to whether or not people should be able to find happiness in religion.

Every religion has met struggles somewhere along the way. No matter the struggles that arise, a system of beliefs can be kept alive by those who are loyal. No matter what comes and goes along the way, this movement can remain as long as there are those who still believe.

The movement finds a great deal of resistance from groups of people who hide behind their religious views in order to pass judgement on others with different lifestyles. They take their interpretation of what is written in religious texts and use it for negativity. For the most part, the majority of issues for the movement come from these groups.

One of the areas where this movement meets some friction is in the way it perceives other religions. The perception is that all other religions originally started out as local or tribal beliefs, and over time they spread around the world. The part that is taken to be offensive to some is the idea that each religion is nothing more than how some person from history interpreted something that they saw or something that they had read.

There are a number of people who don't get offended until the idea is put into their head that it is possible the entirety of what they believe was crated by just another human being. Most who have a designated faith of following believe that their particular god is the one that created the set of ideals for that religion. To present to them the idea that their religion was created by someone who is simply human gets them in a disagreeable mood rather quickly.

There are certain groups of people and cultures that are making more fuss than others. The groups who are against certain things because these beliefs wrong based on their religious ideals seem to be at the forefront of this. These are the people who are using their ideals as a way to pass judgement on others and create more hate.

Another reason for the rapidly increasing popularity is that the goal is to unite humans as one culture. The idea is to erase the lines drawn in the sand by separate cultures, differing sexuality, opposing religions, and different races. The lasting hope is that humans will begin to see each other as nothing more than human and find reasons to unite rather than reasons to fight.

Many are seeing global spirituality as their way to not only be happy with their life and choices, but to also have a spiritual sense of rest as well. While there is going to be a lot of groups arguing the validity of this as a viable spiritual choice, it is no matter for those who find comfort within the ideals. Everyone deserves to be happy with who they are and comfortable in their own religious path.
