The HBO mini-series Band of Brothers is regarded as being definitely one of the absolute best warfare films ever produced. Based mostly on the book by Stephen Ambrose, the ten parts detail the particular story from the men of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Regiment of the North American 101st Airborne. The successive two episodes cover the build up and then theaction at Bastogne throughout the Battle of the Bulge. By this stage a number of Easy Company are at breaking point and this is the topic matter of episode 7. While the war nears the finish, there is one last patrol for Easy Company. The horrors of conflict are highlighted as the men find the camp.
