A Handful Of Presidential Fun Facts

There is many historical pieces of information out there that covers the leaders of the United States of America. This information can be found in history books which provide a lot of good information. History books don't tell everything though, a lot of presidential fun facts can be found in different sources.

Cleveland was both the twenty second and twenty fourth president. Every one after him is technically one number off of their listing because he is counted twice. This makes Barrack Obama actually the forty third person to be in his position but labeled as the forty fourth.

After everything that happened with Nixon and his Vice-presidents there was a term of unelected individuals. Nixon's first vice-president stepped down and he appointed a new one. The new appointed person was Ford who took over office when Nixon left. Ford then appointed his own second hand man and the country was lead by two unelected people for a period of two years.

The fourth of July is a historic day in American history. Beyond its normal reasons there is also the fact that three US leaders died on the fourth of July. One of them was born on that day as well. Those who died were Adams, Jefferson and Monroe. The one who was born on the fourth was Coolidge.

Arlington National Cemetery is a well known resting place in America. Although that is a fact there is also the fact that only two officials are buried there. The two presidents buried there are Taft and Kennedy.

When involving the number 8 in presidential fun facts we will find two interesting things. One is that eight of them did not go to college, and the other is that eight of them were born British subjects. There are many more pieces of information that include the group or just individuals but each on had something different to add.
