I was on the look about for a fan that does adds moisture to the air so it does so much harm on the skin. I've recommended this to all my customers in the summer and everybody has had good things to say about it.
So we decided to give this a try after reading some good reviews. It works well, provides cool air, and so far we've gone for about 2 hours and no issues with the battery.
I would have appreciated if they came with a car adapter which is why I didn't give this product 5 stars. Got it for only $39 on sale from Amazon and it came with free shipping. It's simple and straight forward to use. I got this as a father's day gift and I was a delight to receive it.
We bought this for our 6 month old child for our trip to the beach and were disappointed. It really did not output cool air as much as you would expect for the price. I didn't have a thermometer to measure the temperature difference, but the air sure does feel cooler. It's amazing that it actually works! Unfortunately the handy cooler does not come with any form of case or anything, this would be nice because I am used to carelessly chucking things into my sports bag when I leave the house, and I am too scared of breaking it. Besides that, I am happy with my purchase. I love the size as it's easy to carry around and it's not heavy so they are fine with holding it. Although there is a knob with adjustable speeds, it's always on high. It's getting hot already and as an active sportsperson I inevitably stay out in the sun for a long time. This is a great cooling tool when you are resting between breaks or need a quick cool down during a hike.
The fan noise level is acceptable. It is far from silent, but is quiet enough that it doesn't interfere. It's can be held comfortably in your hands or placed on any surface - but you need to make sure you don't cover the intake cover. I recommend getting rechargeable batteries to save the battery costs.
Cools you down and I love the concept of how it has a USB jack so that I can plug it into my laptop which makes it convenient. Pricewise it's more expensive than the other fans available and if cost conscious I'd probably go for the basic fans that always aren't as good, are half the price.
