Importance of God in Hindu Religion

Hinduism is considered as the oldest religion in the world. One can find a lot of deities in Hindu religion. Hinduism is called as Apauruseya, meaning its origin is not linked with any individual or group of people. Hindu gods are also known to have originated like this. One can find many deities in Hindu religion however all are part of the ultimate power of this universe. This ultimate power of the universe is known as Brahman.

Characteristics of God Explained in Religious Scriptures.

The qualities of God has been explained clearly in religious texts of Hinduism. He should be aware of everything in the universe and he is the ultimate power. He reflects justice, love and beauty. As he created this universe, he should always be ready to grace all the beings and bless them. Rig Veda says that 12 Adityas, eleven Rudras, 8 Vasus, Prajapathi and Indra rule the Heaven, the Space and the Earth. The holy Scripture also mentions that irrespective of the number of gods in Hindu religion, the ultimate power is one.

Hindu religion describes 2 philosophies named Ishta Devaa and Adhikaara, according to which worshippers can select any deity who can satisfy their spiritual needs. her spiritual quest.

Important Deities in Hindu Religion.

There are many gods and goddesses and one can not classify or arrange them in any order. However, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are the main gods in Hinduism, who are responsible for creation, preservation or protection and destruction of the universe, respectively. Goddesses who are different forms of Shakti also has an important place in Hinduism apart from Gods. Saraswati, Parvati and Lakshmi are the most important female deities in Hinduism. Kali and Durga are parts of the power Shakti.

Devotees also worship various other avtars of these Devas and Devis. Krishna, Rama, Ganesha and Hanuman are some of the favorites of many Hindu believers across the world. People also refer Gods as Devas and Goddesses as Devis.

Important Avtars.

Main incarnations according to Hinduism are the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Hindus believe that Lord Vishnu, in order to save the universe from evil forces, takes birth in different avtars in different Yugas. Vishnu takes birth ten times. Those avtars are Varaha, Koorma, Narasimha, Rama, Krishna, Khalki, Matsya, Parashurama, Vamana and Balarama. As per the beliefs of Hinduism, we currently live in Kaliyuga and Lord Vishnu re-incarnates as Khalki, the 10th incarnation.

Earth, sun, water, air and fire also worshipped by Hindus. They also have the name 5 elements. They respect respect flora and fauna and regard them as gifts from god.
