To be able to practice nursing in the state of your choice you must gain state licensure. This can be complicated as each state can be different whereas some states follow the same standards. Sitting the NCLEX-RN examination is the next step in becoming a qualified nurse. This is a tough exam that all nurses have to sit before they can call themselves qualified nurses in America. It is a good idea to study all you have learnt over the course of your degree as it is a tough exam.

Passing your nurse certification means that you are ready to become a practicing nurse and to take on the many challenges and rewards that await you once you start down the career path that you have chosen.
