Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Brow Spot On Face

By Roger Ricafort

A brow spot on face may be harmless, but it can be unsightly. Further, it makes you look a lot older. Eliminating it may be done though some cosmetic procedures like micro dermabrasion and use of laser light. But not every woman with this problem can afford to pay for these expensive treatments. Good thing that there are a few effective home remedies which you may try to regain a youthful appearance.

Sometimes referred to as age spots, they can be made lighter with the help of certain things at home. You don't have to buy anything as they may already be in the kitchen, bathroom or garden. If you're tired of putting up with these trouble spots, read on and try any one of the following natural remedies.

Citrus fruits like orange, lemon and grapefruit are naturally acidic. However, they're light enough to be applied on most skin types and produce dramatic results. Their acidic property can help bleach those clumps of melanin. Using cotton buds, apply the juice of any citrus fruit found in your kitchen on the affected area and leave it there, preferably as you sleep.

Buttermilk has lactic acid which also helps deliver the same bleaching effect as the juice of citrus fruits. It's recommended if you have sensitive skin, especially when a stinging sensation is felt upon application of acidic juice. Dab buttermilk onto the marks themselves using cotton buds and leave it there to do some wonders.

Raid your medicine cabinet and see if there's vitamin E supplement there. Get a capsule and prick it with a clean needle. The oil inside it may be applied onto problem areas. If you want, you may also apply it all over your face because it's a moisturizer and it contains lots of antioxidants. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals which can hasten the appearance of many signs of aging.

Aloe vera gel is also a wonderful natural remedy for age spots. See if you have this plant in your garden or your neighbor's. Break a leaf and apply the gel directly on the skin. Like vitamin E, this gel is also rich in antioxidants. What's more, it's also good for healing other skin problems such as wounds and burns.

Other than getting rid of that brow spot on face through these home remedies, it also pays to avoid excessive sun exposure. Invest on a high quality sun block that's suited for your skin type. Remember to protect yourself with an umbrella, large sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat when stepping foot outside.
