Social Networking Sites: Check Out FriendWise

By Robert Smith

These days, the internet is full of social networking sites. Though there is a network for virtually any interest, the sheer number of them can make it confusing to find the one that provides all the services you want. It is wise to do some research into these sites before you sign up for a membership and start visiting the forums. Take the time to find out abut each one, and look at sites from a number of different areas. Keep in mind that the popularity of a site is not necessarily an indication of how high the quality of the site is.

FriendWise is a site that you might discover while searching for other online social networks. You may not hear about FriendWise as often as some other sites such as MySpace, Yahoo 360 or Orkut, but its popularity is rising fast. This trend of increasing popularity is expected to continue over time.

As previously mentioned above, that examination should enable you to decide whether or not FriendWise is able to offer you want you want or need to get out of your social networking experience.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to find out a lot of inside information about FriendWise until you register and become a member. Unlike Facebook and MySpace, FriendWise does not state clearly on its home page if it is free to use or if it comes with a charge. There is no mention about membership fees and the sign-up page at FriendWise does not even have a spot to enter your credit card info, but assuming that a program is free and knowing for sure ahead of time before you join are two different things. Aside from free membership information, FriendWise is very clear about the options and features that they include with their service right on the front page of the social networking website.

The goal of FriendWise, like many other online social networking websites, is to give internet users a chance to come together and connect. Once you have signed up for FriendWise, you should be able to begin making your profile page. Your profile page will outline information on yourself, such as your likes, dislikes, and hobbies.
