The Best Things to Take With You to An Orlando Amusement Park

By Steve Rogers

You've purchased your passes, you've scheduled the travel together with hotel reservations, now all you have to give think about is packing. "But hold on. Exactly what things does a person need to take to a theme park?" I hear you ponder.

Outlined below I will give you the most important 10 items that you should take to the parks with you.

Sun Screen Lotion - This is perhaps the most important item to remember! Florida is certain to be extremely hot, even throughout the winter months. You can still get sunburnt through the clouds, even if the sun isn't shining. Pack it!

Fluids - To bring a reusable bottle of drinking water may be a complete lifesaver during those very hot days out. When you've drank it all, you can stop by a nearby water fountain and refill it and reuse it repeatedly. Suggestion: We often freeze our beverages (non-carbonated) when we head to the parks. This allows them to remain icy cold for the entire day.

Digital Camera - You will be shocked at how many people actually fail to remember their digital camera. Sure most of the parks have official Walt Disney World photographers available (that charge a lot for prints) but in the case you want to shoot your own photographic memories, remember that digital camera! There are often signs advertising different photo opportunities.

Walking Shoes - Consider just how many miles you will end up trekking in one day at the parks. You may forget how much you really travel, probably because you will be having too much fun! However wearing uncomfortable sneakers can cause your feet to get blisters. And that could totally ruin your day.

Money - Or a credit card. You will most definitely need to bring a bit of cash with you. There is a lot of shopping to be done. Wouldn't it be a shame if you forgot your means of payment? A lot of the stuff that you can get in the parks in Orlando are unlike the rest of America's theme parks. The other parks have loads of garbage that you should not buy! But at the Orlando theme parks you will find a ton of really neat products to buy.

Many times while visiting EPCOT I have seen a person checking out. They hand over their credit card, that was unsigned, and have it declined. At the moment Disney have a rule where they can't take unsigned credit cards without an ID (drivers license or passport). Likewise if you desire to consume any alcoholic beverages (and are obviously over twenty-one) you will be required to show proof of your age. Particularly when drinking around the world at EPCOT.
