Kitten heels are sometimes known as kitten heel footwear or short stilettos since they come under the extreme lower end of stiletto design. They became trendy once again in 2003 even though they are not produced on a very large scale as when they first emerged.

They are sold in various shapes, sizes and types. The types are as a result of variations in the elevation of heel. The height could vary from 1.25-2 In. They may be sharp-pointed or flat. Their use by all age groups has resulted into producers manufacturing sizes that accommodate various shapes and sizes of feet. The shape is handy for enhancing the feminine appearance.

Many famous shoe producers add this design in their line of products saying that it is fashionable and promising. This illustrates the popularity of this design. Custom designs are also produced to enhance comfort, durability and beauty. The material used to make them is one of the major areas of customization with some producers even using leather to produce them.

This product can be put to a wide range of use, ranging from official, casual and specific purpose application. Most people like using them in summer as sandals and when attending casual night outs. One may complement them with casual or official skirts and trousers or jeans.

Kitten heels may become very challenging to move with since they produce noise as one walks. To decrease this effect when, try to raise toes to minimize the force on the backside of the feet. This also assists to conserve the footwear and increase its useful life.
