Many things have been said about France, with considered one of them becoming 'Paris was not created inside a day'. Hence once I was planning to journey to this town, I was confused about how to organize my itinerary, since I wanted to see as many things as possible thing about this old place. Consequently, as I of my scheduled my trip, I spent hrs on my computer, wanting to work out many of the sites that I wanted to see and what to expect when I got there.
Every single day I seemed to feel stressed, as I couldn't wait around to see the old sites about France. I was excited and always thinking about my holiday, I was going to enjoy each and every simple moment of my time there, so once the travel day came I was ready for traveling. On arrival, I could only look at the beauty of this old town . It was a reality check, I could see some of the things which I had read of in books or seen on the TV. I checked into my guest house in which I had been going to spend the next two weeks and here, I was surprised at the care that had been taken to decorate the room I had been given.
To begin with, the room was painted in cool colors that made me fall in love with it instantly. In fact for a moment, I forgot that I was so many miles away from home. Secondly, the furniture used in the room was nothing short of classic. There was a big wooden bed that had some cozy and unique bedding well spread on it. The room also had a big custom wardrobe that was second to none I have ever seen. The design was magnificent and so were the accessories that were used to finish it. The study area also had a stylish pine table, that added to the general appeal of the room. Moreover, there were two narrow bedside cabinets on each side of the bed that had bedside lamps placed on them. All these helped me to settle in fast before embarking on the real business that had brought me here which was to enjoy the beauty of Rome.
So after relaxing and familiarizing myself with my new environment that I would call home for the next one month, I took a walk around the city as it is believed to be the best way to sample this great destination. The weather was perfect and so as I walked along the streets, I had unexpected finds that included galleries. I eventually ended up in a coffee shop along one of the busy streets where I spent time observing how the people here conduct themselves as well as business. I must say the atmosphere here was good so I sipped my coffee slowly as I enjoyed the good music that was played at the caf. After about one and a half hours, I picked up my map and strolled back to my hotel room where I freshened up before going to the restaurant for dinner. Later, I returned to my hotel room where I reviewed my itinerary for the following day before tucking myself in the warmth of the cozy bed. I was now ready to experience Rome.
My assumptions were right, my vacation in France was the ideal break I needed and so when I was going back home again I purchased a small wardrobe, that I treasure so much because it jogs my memory with the creative nature of the Bretons, and its beautiful persons.
