The motorists, on the other hand, are given the responsibility to identify the roadsigns. First is to identify the shape for the road sign. There are meanings for each and every shape that is being used for the road sign. There are those which are being used exclusively while others with some variations.

Most of the common shapes that are being used in the roadsigns are the octagon, pentagon, pennants, and circles. The octagon tells others to stop, pentagon tells motorists that there is a school nearby, pennants is for no-passing, and circles is for railroad-advance warning sign.

The color of the road sign is also important. For example, the red color usually communicates stop or do not go any further. Orange is a temporary control sign on the road. Black usually tells the motorists that the street they are going to pass through is one-way.

For those roadsigns that do not clearly say their meaning, it is important to read the writings on them. Most of the autocad traffic signs have writings on them. For example, there are symbols which clearly spells out Do Not Enter.
