The beautiful Island Of Koh Samui

Are you looking for some cheap Thailand holidays, why not try Koh Samui. Quite minute but with packed with great attributes, the island Koh Samui is located to the southeast of Thailand. It is only 150 square miles in area, but this island provides tourists with the most amazing holiday experience, the best virgin and greener landscapes, most translucent waters and finest golden sands.

The central part of Koh Samui consists of a barely inhabited, mountainous jungle. All the main clusters of the coast are connected by 50 Km of road that bypasses most of the island. Koh Samui has a good hotel infrastructure and communications via Ferry and an airport that allows reaching the island in only an hour from Bangkok.

Koh Samui features a natural environment in the interior of the island along with a wide range of beaches along its coast. This makes it ideal for leisure activities such as: sailing, diving, scuba diving. Golf and trekking are just some of the activities that are carried out. You can also visit temples, a zoo or simply excursions in the midst of fantastic natural surroundings with waterfalls.

Of course there the mission is to relax and enjoy the fresh air, the marina breeze marina and the benevolent tropical climate that caresses the island throughout the year. It is for this reason that the visitor will not abandon the place without before visiting the so called "six great beaches": Chaweng, Lamai, Maenam, Bo Phut, Choeng Mon and Big Buddha.

Chaweng. It is the largest and most well known of the Island's beaches. The Chaweng Beach has very fine sand crystalline waters. It's the most famous tourist area and where most of the hotels are concentrated. You can also find a prominent nightlife in Chaweng.

Of course, as the holiday on Samui plan is to rest, the island has little nightlife, but if what you want is a bit of fun, drinks and dancing well then you must go to Chaweng. In Chaweng, seven kilometers of white sand with rustic bars, discotheques, shops and beautiful gardens of the luxurious hotels will welcome the traveler.
