Pink Bridesmaid Dresses Add a Splash of Romance to Your Wedding

By John Jones

Different wedding cultures, customs and traditions exist in the world today. In some of the weddings, the brides wear colors such as red and maroon (particularly in Pakistani and Indian cultures) while in some others, brides normally wear white (as in European, Australian and American cultures).

Pink color, whether it is pale or bright like hot pink or fuchsia, is always tuneful with the whole blissful atmosphere throughout the process of tying the knot. Probably as the most feminine shade, this hue is versatile forvintage cocktail dresses as it suits any type of wedding.

The bridesmaid dresses may be chosen by the bride, the maid of honor, or by mutual agreement. Because a bridesmaid dress may be expensive, some bridesmaids may turn down the offer of being a maid from the bride because of the financial investment required. Thankfully these days there are many cheap alternatives available from dress wholesalers so this is less of a problem.

Long dresses for the bridesmaid are long gowns touching the ankles. They are made of satin and silk. In order to make them beautiful these dresses are decorated with silk flowers and satin waist belts. Long dresses are not as popular as short dresses for the bridesmaids, and this is because the brides traditionally wear long dresses so as the bridesmaids have to look different than a bride, she prefers wearing short dresses. Therefore, it is commonly thought that in order to look the most beautiful bridesmaid ever, you have to look unique and different.

Bridesmaid dresses, being similar to the wedding dress, have traditionally been full length. But in modern times bridesmaids are wearing shorter and shorter dresses. In simple terms, one can guess that the more conservative the bride, family and wedding, the longer the bridesmaid dresses will be, and the more liberal the wedding party is, the higher the likelihood bridesmaids will wear something more fun and sexy, showing off some skin.
