Becoming a CNA could be the stepping stone to become RN (Registered Nurse).

Red Cross CNA Training

CNA trainings are available at many Red Cross of the country. The Red Cross CNA training program is particularly useful in supplying info and abilities needed to offer basic care and support for patients at hospitals and nursing homes.

The American Red Cross Society is running CNA training programs for more than twenty years and leading nursing profession for at least 100 years. The Red Cross Society offers conventional way of nursing training for people that are attempting to find nursing assistant training.

The American Society Red Cross provides prime quality CNA training that fulfills the State prerequisites for CNA Certification. The CNA training may be different from one state to another. The CNA trainees are supervised by the RNs during their training hours.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross offer 4 weeks nursing assistant training program. The class running time is from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all week days. The training fee is $1300. The program runs under the control of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Calhoun, Georgia

The Northwest Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross runs its training for three weeks. It runs smaller classes with less than 14 students. Graduating students pass the Georgia certification exam at raised rates than the state average. The program fee is $670.

San Bernardino, California

The Inland Empire Chapter of the American Red Cross has been offering its training for 15 years. It provides 164 hour training program during the day time. It trains more than 300 nurses annually with 99% passing grade. The cost of the training is $1900. The charge involves the price of California State CNA Competency Examination.

After graduation, the Red Cross Society also assists the students with job placement. About 50% of Red Cross Trained CNAs are employed as per the county report of participants in the Workforce Investment Act Job Training program.
