Battery Operated Fans

As it goes, battery operated fans can get lots of low quality items that aren't worth even the low prices you might pay for them. The amount of breeze these small units produce is also negligible unless you hold them inches from your face.

Fortunately you can get many more styles of battery operated fans that are suitable for a wide range of environments. You can even get a battery operated fan that has its own humidifier. Before purchasing you need to buy a model that is going to suit the purpose you need it for. Do you work in an office where you need a little extra cooling to get through the day or are you a camper who needs a way to circulate the air to stop your tent from getting stuffy?

Coleman is an outdoor specialist company so a lot of their fans are excellent units designed to keep your tent just that little bit cooler. One of their models conveniently hangs out of the way on the roof of the tent. Free standing ones are designed to sit on the floor to help keep you cool while you sleep on your camping cot. If you're worried about battery life one model of theirs can run for 21 hours straight on one set of batteries.

If you like to travel light you might consider a battery operated fan with a built in light. If you have no place to hang them powerful magnets and a metal plate enable you to attach it to anywhere on the tent wall that's convenient. A handy LED nightlight makes getting up for those midnight visits a little easier as well.

If you need something with a bit more cooling power you could try a misting fan. These work by spraying a mist of water in front of the spinning blades. An evaporatvie effect helps cool your skin and the surrounding air. The evaporative cooling effect can also be found in portable battery operated air coolers. Air passes over a wet sponge where it is cooled and is then vented out to exactly where you need it.

Personal battery operated humidifiers can also have health benefits for people with allergies. The extra humidity helps keep the nasal passages and throat moist and more comfortable. Unfortunately dust mites and mold also love a humid environment so too much use could potentially make your allergies worse. It is important to monitor your usage so you don't create more problems for yourself.
