Probably a sure destination would be the Australian outback, the vast stretch of rural retreat where you don't have to worry about traffic or look at the monotonous buildings. It's after all a wide stretch of road trip adventures, hiking, camping and exciting off-road driving. As you tread the red soil of Central Australia, the land that has inspired poets and writers, where spiritual aborigines worship the heart and soul of their land, the perfect place to get your mind off stress, welcome to the Australian Outback. Winters are around from June to September and summers from December to February. The outback occupies 70% of the Australian continent. The main locations of interest are Ayers Rock, Alice Springs and Coober Pedy.

The Alice Springs is the heart of the Australian outback, with many festivals and literature and myths hovering around it. It's a beautiful place to be in, with mostly everything you would ever want in the place. It is also central to all the places that you can go and good for cycling as well.

Ayer's rock is a famous place for finding your place amongst the mountains (pun intended). It's not just big hug rocks as you would have imagined. The clear landscape, the sunset and sunrise from behind the rocks are some of the spectacular sights for a lifetime!

Another outstanding outback is Coober Pedy-The Opal capital of world. It's a pretty town and a unique place of Australia. The deserted landscape, tiny hills and moonlike craters provides you great moments and a is perfect for a lone winter retreat.
