Dan Lier Explains Success Strategies

By Saleem Rana

Dan Lier, a well-known national speaker, popular writer and personal coach on the subject of peak performance for both career and personal development recently chatted with Allen Cardoza on L.A. Talk Radio about personal achievement, particularly parents showing their children how to be winners.

With over 3,500 presentations in 20 countries, Dan Lier's work has been covered by popular television shows like the Today Show and Inside Edition.

Lier made it clear that what everyone really seeks is self-fulfilment. All objectives in the end aspire to offer just one result - satisfaction through creating a positive shift. He reckoned that up to 90% of people are dissatisfied with their lives. The tiny 10% who are well-accomplished, who are enjoying satisfactory lives, have discovered it by working at what they love.

Within a family, the way to design success starts with the parents. High-achieving parents happen to be uplifting icons for their kids. Success from the top down, from parents to offspring, is established by creating a flourishing and worthwhile family.

Lier is convinced that only about a quarter of achievement can be ascribed to acquiring the finest education and that any parent who principally focused on enrolling their child into colleges like Princeton or Yale were not fully understanding the nature of success. Accomplished kids were principally the upshot of successful parents.

In spite of the present global economic insecurity, Lier pointed out, "it is still possible to become successful because what really matters is having the right attitude." He also noted that, "the worst attitude is feeling hopeless because of the economy and using it as an excuse to feel helpless."

Asked by Cardoza to give the radio show listeners a pragmatic strategy, Lier outlined the notion of finding an accountability partner. The strategy was easy: locate a person who will always tell you the truth, share your objectives, outline what you intend to do, and contact them at a scheduled time weekly to tell them what you did.

Lier also sells 10 minute coaching tips that allow the person listening to swiftly learn the habits of successful living in handy slices of time.
